NRP 72 "Antimicrobial Resistance"
The NRP 72 aims to contribute to reducing antimicrobial resistance and complications in treating infectious diseases.
Mandated by the Federal Council, the SNSF has launched the National Research Programme "Antimicrobial Resistance" (NRP 72). The research programme is expected to improve our knowledge about the origin of resistance genes and their distribution mechanisms, develop swift diagnostic tools, analyse new antimicrobial molecules and propose intervention measures. It is adopting a holistic, interdisciplinary one-health approach.
Researchers may submit their pre-proposals by no later than 11 January 2016.
For further information on NRP 72 and the call, please refer to the programme website.
