ERA-NET E-Rare on Rare Diseases
The E-Rare network launches its 9th transnational call for funding multilateral research projects in the field "of Innovative Therapeutic Approaches for Rare Diseases".
The ERA-Net for Research Programmes on Rare Diseases (E-RARE) aims at maximising the efficiency and impact of research on rare diseases on a European scale.
The call objective is to enable scientists in different countries to build an effective collaboration on a common interdisciplinary research project based on complementarities and sharing of expertise, with a clear translational research approach. The research projects have to focus on the pre-clinical development of therapeutic approaches in suitable existing animal or cell models. The therapeutic approaches can include cell-based therapy, gene therapy and pharmacological therapy.
Interested researchers are requested to contact the SNSF Administrative Offices to clarify eligibility issues before submitting their pre-proposal.
