Call for applications for new members of the Research Council
From April 2025, the Research Council will be organised into five programme committees and a Policy Committee. The SNSF is looking for new members of the Research Council to complement the expertise of its current members.
The Research Council is responsible for the scientific evaluation and selection of research applications to be funded. It is also responsible for developing the SNSF's funding policy and funding schemes. The Research Council is managed by the Academic Board and works closely with the other SNSF bodies.
The call for applications is open. Please consult the specific research council mandates. Applications should be sent to rc-election@snf.ch by 30 September 2024.
The new Research Council will be elected by the Foundation Council in early December 2024.
