The Joint Funding Scheme (JFS) is launching a new call. It enables Southeast Asian and European researchers to collaborate on topics of interest for both sides.

The SNSF is participating in the call. The aim is to pool resources multilaterally in order to promote collaborative research projects.

This multilateral call focuses on the following areas:

  • Circular economy
  • Clean, accessible and secure energy supply

The call is aimed at researchers from all disciplines. You can submit an application if your project falls under one of the above-mentioned subject areas.

At least three partners from three different countries must participate in each consortium; one of them must be in Southeast Asia. In addition, applicants are urged to consult the guidelines for cross-border research partnerships (KFPE principles) with regard to their planned projects.

Further information on the rules of the call is available on the official website. Please note the respective national participation requirements and get in touch with the contact person specified therein for further information. A list of participating countries can also be found on the platform's official website.
