COST projects in Switzerland
The SNSF is launching the 2022 call for Swiss-based projects associated with COST networks (COST Actions).
What is the goal of COST?
COST (European Cooperation in Science and Technology) is a programme that aims to enable breakthrough scientific developments leading to new concepts and products. COST brings together European researchers to jointly develop their own ideas and new initiatives across all science and technology fields through trans-European cooperation.
Call for proposals 2022
This year, the SNSF is once again launching a call for COST proposals to support work conducted in Switzerland within the scope of the recently approved COST Actions of the series COST CA191## and COST CA201##. Researchers who have at least one year of postdoctoral experience and who are actively participating in a COST Action are eligible to apply. The requirements are set out in detail in the call document.
A dedicated panel will evaluate the scientific merits of the applications on the basis of reviews by external experts. To help in defining the composition of the panel, lead applicants are strongly encouraged to pre-register by 18 March 2022.
At the previous call in 2021, 22 projects were approved by the SNSF.
