You can also receive funding from the SNSF for a single book chapter. It must be published in a peer-reviewed edited volume and be based on SNSF-funded research.

Edited volumes on specific topics or as follow-ups to conferences fulfil an important function in science communication. Have you written a book chapter that originated from an SNSF-funded project? We reimburse the publisher's services with a book chapter processing charge (BCPC). You can easily apply for open access funding via the mySNF online platform.

During the ongoing transitional period, funding is also possible even if the book chapter is not published in an open access edited volume. In this case, the BCPC is intended for the immediate open access publication of your book chapter.
