Switzerland and Côte d'Ivoire to work more closely together in research funding

More dialogue: the SNSF has signed a memorandum of understanding with its Ivorian partner organisation FONSTI.
Côte d'Ivoire's funding organisation, the Fonds pour la Science, la Technologie et l'Innovation (FONSTI), was founded in 2008. The SNSF has maintained a close relationship with the FONSTI ever since its inception. During the Supervisory Board's visit to Switzerland, both funding agencies signed an MoU to intensify their cooperation. This will primarily strengthen the sharing of experiences in research funding and dialogue between the bodies. In addition, the SNSF will support the FONSTI in its international networking activities.
