As a researcher in Liechtenstein, your status with the SNSF is the same as researchers in Switzerland. Therefore, you can submit a funding application in all our funding schemes. The same applies to the bilateral and multilateral funding opportunities we offer together with partners abroad.
In 1989, the SNSF reached an agreement with the government of the Principality of Liechtenstein on the equal treatment of researchers in Liechtenstein. This represents the closest form of cooperation with another country.
