235 million francs in grants for transitional measures
First preliminary figures: In 2023, the SNSF invested 959 million francs in new projects, fellowships and publications of its regular funding schemes. We awarded a further 235 million for the Horizon Europe transitional measures.
577 million francs went into project funding, with which experienced researchers realise their own ideas. We approved 198 million francs for work by research groups in programmes and 138 million for early-career researchers through the career funding schemes.
