CIFAR symposium for early-career researchers: forging international networks
As part of the partnership between CIFAR and the SNSF, a symposium for international early-career researchers on the topic Radical Interdisciplinary: Boundless will be held in Geneva from 25 to 28 March 2025.
The CIFAR Forum on Radical Interdisciplinary: Boundless will be held in Geneva to promote interdisciplinary collaboration among early-career researchers and bring together talented individuals from a range of different fields. Participants will explore the topic of life from a variety of perspectives – from the smallest cell of a living being to the discovery of life beyond our planet. The aim of the symposium is to bring together early-career researchers with different but complementary research interests and academic backgrounds to develop interdisciplinary research projects.
Participation requirements and registration
The symposium will take place in Geneva from 25 to 28 March 2025. Researchers who completed their doctorates within the last ten years and who are currently employed at a research institution in Switzerland or Canada or who are participating in a CIFAR programme can apply via the CIFAR website (see below). Application documents should be submitted by 26 November 2024. They include a CV and a description of how your research is related to the symposium, how the symposium will benefit your academic career and how you have been involved in interdisciplinary research thus far.
If you have any questions, please contact CIFAR at nextgen@cifar.ca.
